The Celeste Small is a 410mm pendant light with a matt black aluminium cage dome suspended over a white polycarbonate diffuser. Two integrated 20W 3000K LEDs sit above the diffuser, producing 1400 lumens that reflect down through the white panel and radiate outward between the cage bars, creating both downlight and ambient glow.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and grouped installations over counters or hallways, the pendant works as a single statement piece in smaller rooms or as part of a linear or clustered arrangement in open-plan spaces. The 1900mm maximum drop is adjustable down to 320mm, allowing the pendant to sit 600-800mm above a worktop or table depending on ceiling height. The matt black cage contrasts sharply with the white diffuser, giving the pendant visual weight without bulk.

The aluminium cage is formed from vertical bars that radiate from a central hub at the top, creating a ribbed dome profile that casts patterned shadows on nearby walls when lit. The bars taper slightly towards the base, where they meet a lower ring that holds the diffuser in place. The white polycarbonate diffuser sits flush inside this lower ring, presenting as a flat luminous disc from below while the cage curves above it. The 2.4kg weight gives the pendant a solid presence on installation, and the matt black finish resists fingerprints and marks better than polished or gloss alternatives.

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and delivers a fixed 1400 lumens at 3000K. The pendant is designed for installations where constant light output is needed rather than variable mood lighting.

What ceiling height is required?

The pendant has an adjustable drop from 320mm to 1900mm. For a kitchen island or dining table the pendant typically hangs 600-800mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can accommodate the pendant by reducing the drop during installation.

Can multiple pendants be grouped together?

Yes. The 410mm diameter allows several Celeste Small pendants to be hung in a row over a kitchen island or counter without overcrowding. Common arrangements include three pendants spaced 600-800mm apart over a 2.4m island, or two pendants over a dining table.

How is the cage cleaned?

Wipe the matt black aluminium cage with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth is acceptable, but avoid soaking the pendant or using chemical sprays that may affect the matt finish. The white polycarbonate diffuser can be wiped with a damp cloth once the pendant is switched off and cooled.
