Description

The Celeste is a recessed LED reading light with a flexible black silicone arm that extends 120mm from a flush-mounted metal backplate. A 3W integrated LED at the head delivers warm 3000K light through a focused beam, designed for reading rather than ambient illumination. The arm bends to direct the beam onto a book, headboard or bedside surface.

Designed for bedside installation, the Celeste mounts into a recessed cavity in the wall or headboard, sitting flush with the surface once fitted. The 45mm backplate depth requires a cavity of at least 50mm behind the mounting surface. The flexible arm allows the light to be positioned exactly where needed for reading in bed or at a desk, then pushed back against the wall when not in use. The IP20 rating limits installation to dry interior rooms only.

The black metal backplate and black silicone arm give the fitting a minimal profile that blends into dark-toned headboards, panelling and contemporary interiors. The 3W LED output is sufficient for reading a single page width but not for lighting a whole room. The 3000K colour temperature provides warm white light that reduces eye strain during evening reading compared to cooler LEDs.
