Description

The Celeste Large is an 810mm dome pendant light with a matt black aluminium outer shell and a white polycarbonate diffuser suspended inside. Two integrated 40W LEDs sit above the diffuser and cast 2800 lumens of 3000K warm white light downwards through the curved polycarbonate plane, which follows the contour of the dome's interior. The open underside of the dome allows the light to spread in a 120-degree beam angle, providing ambient illumination across dining tables, kitchen islands and open-plan living spaces.

Designed for ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the pendant hangs on adjustable suspension cords that allow the drop to be set between 350mm and 1900mm during installation. The large diameter suits dining tables seating 6-8 people or kitchen islands of 2m or longer, where the dome's scale matches the proportions of the surface below. The matt black finish absorbs light from surrounding sources, giving the outer shell a defined edge against white or light-coloured ceilings.

The contrast between the matt black exterior and the internally lit white diffuser creates a two-tone effect when the pendant is switched on — the outer dome remains visually dark while the inner surface glows. The aluminium construction keeps the weight to 3.6kg despite the 810mm span, and the curved ribs radiating from the central hub add structural strength without visible fixings on the outer surface.
