This Ideal Lux ceiling light installation kit provides a white metal mounting plate, pre-wired terminal block, three steel suspension cables and mounting hardware for fitting pendant lights to UK ceilings. The 135mm diameter plate covers a standard ceiling rose, and the terminal block accepts mains cable via a central aperture in the plate. The kit is supplied with three adjustable steel suspension cables, each with a fixing pin at one end and a gripper at the other, allowing pendant fittings to be hung at different heights.

Designed for use with pendant lights that do not include their own ceiling canopy or wiring components, the kit suits both new installations and retrofit projects where the original ceiling mounting hardware has been lost or damaged. The white powder-coated finish on the plate matches most ceiling colours and blends into white or neutral interiors. The terminal block is rated for standard UK 230V mains wiring and accepts live, neutral and earth connections.

The 135mm plate diameter is large enough to cover the typical 80-100mm diameter of a UK ceiling rose while remaining small enough to sit inconspicuously against the ceiling once installed. The three suspension cables can be cut to length during installation, giving flexibility to set the drop height of the pendant to suit the room. The kit carries a five-year warranty from Ideal Lux.
