Description

The Cedar Point is a 248mm outdoor wall lantern in a black powder-coated metal frame with seeded glass panels divided by a craftsman-style grid pattern. The lantern houses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) behind four panes of seeded glass, which diffuse the light into a warm glow through the textured surface. The IP44 rating confirms the fitting is protected against solid objects above 1mm and water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for covered porches, door surrounds, and sheltered garden walls.

Designed to be mounted on external walls flanking front doors, garage entries, or along pathways where covered by an overhang, the Cedar Point projects 182mm from the wall on a short arm that fixes to a 146mm-square backplate. The fitting works in pairs either side of a door, or as a single accent beside a side entrance. The seeded glass provides enough diffusion to avoid harsh glare from exposed filament bulbs while maintaining visibility of the bulb itself when lit, giving a layered depth to the light output.

The black finish is a low-sheen powder coat over die-cast aluminium, offering corrosion resistance in UK coastal and urban environments. The grid detailing on each glass panel references Arts & Crafts and Prairie-style architecture without being ornate, which allows the lantern to pair comfortably with both traditional cottage exteriors and contemporary new-build homes in darker cladding or render. The 60W maximum rating accepts LED, halogen or filament E27 bulbs depending on the desired light temperature and energy consumption.
