Description

The Cayman is a 150mm round wall light combining two independent LED functions: a 3W adjustable reading arm with a focused 30° beam and a 6W diffused backlight ring with a 120° spread. Both LEDs run at 3000K warm white and are controlled separately by rocker switches recessed into the circular backplate, allowing the reading spotlight, the ambient backlight, or both to be used as needed.

Designed for bedside installation, the Cayman fixes to the wall above a headboard or next to a bed where overhead pendants or table lamps are impractical. The adjustable reading arm pivots to direct light onto a book or magazine without disturbing a partner, while the backlight provides low-level ambient illumination for navigating the room at night. The 110mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for narrow bedrooms and hotel rooms where wall space is limited.

The matt white powder-coated finish sits flush with white or neutral-toned walls, giving a clean, minimal profile when both lights are off. The circular backplate hides the wall fixings and conceals the cable entry point. Total lumen output of 620lm across both LEDs gives sufficient task light for reading without excessive brightness, and the 3W+6W combined draw makes the fitting efficient for always-on bedside use.

The Cayman is part of Mantra's functional LED wall light range and includes a 3-year warranty. It weighs 0.6kg including the backplate and is suitable for plasterboard or masonry walls with standard UK wiring behind. The integrated LEDs are non-replaceable — when they reach end of life the entire fitting is replaced rather than individual bulbs.
