Description

The Cascade is a 7-light crystal chandelier built around a 42cm gold-finished metal canopy with a decorative brass band detail. Multiple strands of faceted crystal beads and larger crystal droplets cascade in a tiered waterfall formation from the canopy, creating a layered effect where light refracts through the crystals at different angles. Each of the seven E14 fittings sits within the crystal layers, hidden from direct view but casting light through the glass.

Designed as a semi-flush ceiling fitting with a 47.5cm drop from canopy to lowest crystal point, the Cascade suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above where a full-length pendant would hang too low. The chandelier works in dining rooms with standard ceiling heights, entrance halls, bedrooms, and smaller living spaces where traditional chandeliers would dominate. The gold finish on the metal canopy and frame warms under incandescent or warm-white LED bulbs, while the crystal droplets break the light into scattered reflections across walls and ceilings.

The crystal elements are individually strung onto the metal frame in a pattern that balances visual density with movement — enough crystals to create the cascading effect but not so many that the fitting becomes opaque.
