Description

The Carisa is a 5-light cluster pendant with five amber glass double shades suspended from a 40cm matt black ceiling canopy. Each shade houses an integrated 5W LED surrounded by a dual-layer glass structure: an inner opal-striped polycarbonate core diffuses the light, while an outer amber glass lens adds warmth and softens the output to 3000K. The combined effect is a rich, layered glow rather than direct downlight.

Designed for kitchen islands, dining tables and bar areas with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 3.5m, the Carisa's five pendants hang at staggered heights from the factory but can be adjusted during installation. Each pendant cable is field-adjustable between 35cm and 180cm drop, allowing the cluster to be configured as a tight group over a small table or spread into cascading tiers along a longer island. The 40cm canopy diameter means the fitting works best where the ceiling rose sits centrally above the intended lighting zone.

The matt black finish on the canopy and pendant caps pairs with the warm amber glass to create a contrast that suits both industrial and traditional interiors. The outer amber glass measures approximately 12cm diameter per shade, and the combined weight of 4.39kg means the fitting requires a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point rather than a standard plasterboard ceiling rose alone. The integrated LED is rated at 25W total (5W per head) on 180-240V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. Please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

Can the pendant heights be adjusted after installation?

Yes. Each of the five pendants has a field-adjustable cable that can be set between 35cm and 180cm drop during installation. Once set and the canopy is fitted to the ceiling, further adjustment requires removing the canopy to access the cable locks.

What ceiling fixing is required?

The combined weight of 4.39kg requires a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point. A standard plasterboard ceiling rose without backing will not safely support this fitting. Refer to the assembly instruction PDF for exact fixing requirements.

What size table or island does it suit?

The 40cm canopy diameter and five-pendant spread works best over kitchen islands or dining tables between 1.2m and 2m long. For narrower tables the pendants can be clustered tighter; for longer islands consider two Carisa fittings spaced along the length.
