Description

The Cardillio 1 is a six-light LED spotlight bar for the ceiling, built from aluminium and steel in a brushed aluminium and chrome finish. Three straight sections make up the bar: a central run on a slim ceiling plate, with an angled arm at each end held by its own slender rod, so the fitting runs across the ceiling in a gentle zigzag. It is 158.5cm long, 8.5cm wide and 19.5cm high. Each of the six spots is a chrome ring around a satin-finish plastic diffuser, lit by integrated LEDs, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. Its IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

Its length makes it a natural choice for a long living room, a dining room or a wide hallway, where a single central pendant can leave the corners dim. Six points of light spread along the bar share the glow across the space, and at 3000K the light is a warm white, the relaxed tone most of us prefer at home in the evening. Each ring gives 440lm, and the satin diffusers soften it so the spots look calm rather than harsh. The brushed aluminium sits well against pale walls and grey or black furniture, while the polished chrome rings catch the eye.
