The Cara is a 5 light semi-flush ceiling light with an antique brass frame that curves outward in five balanced arcs, each ending in a faceted crystal globe shade. The globes are constructed from small octagonal crystal pieces set into a spherical frame, refracting light in multiple directions when the bulbs are lit. Five G9 bulb fittings sit inside the globes (bulbs sold separately), with a maximum load of 33W per fitting.

Designed for traditional and classical interiors where ceiling height is limited, the 220mm drop from ceiling to lowest point keeps the fitting close to the surface, making it practical for rooms with 2.4m ceilings or lower. The 610mm diameter gives the Cara enough visual weight to work over a dining table or as a main ceiling light in a medium-sized lounge without overwhelming the space. The antique brass finish pairs with wood furniture, warm paint tones and patterned textiles common in period and classically styled homes.

The frame also carries five smaller crystal spheres positioned between the main globes, adding secondary refraction points and giving the fitting a more detailed appearance when viewed from the side or below. The semi-flush mounting plate fixes directly to a standard UK ceiling rose, with the frame supported by a central stem that extends down into the central decorative bowl. Dimmable G9 LED bulbs allow the light output to be adjusted depending on time of day and room use.

Switch off the mains power, allow the bulbs to cool, and wipe the crystal globes with a dry microfibre cloth. For stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable. Avoid sprays or chemical cleaners that can leave residue on the faceted surfaces.
