Description

The Capuccina is a 1m-diameter semi-flush ceiling light with eight folded white metal shades arranged on adjustable horizontal arms, each housing an integrated LED. The shades are formed from flat sheet metal bent into irregular cone shapes with angled facets that catch light across the white surface, giving each shade definition when lit and viewed from below. The combined 61.5W LED output delivers 4000 lumens at 3000K warm white through the translucent white metal.

Designed for living rooms, dining spaces and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Capuccina provides both ambient room lighting and architectural presence. The 595mm drop from ceiling to lowest point suits standard ceiling heights without dominating vertical space. Each shade can be individually rotated on its arm during installation, allowing the installer to scatter the shades in different directions and create a layered silhouette when viewed from below.

The white powder-coated finish reflects the warm LED light back into the room while the angled facets on each shade create subtle highlights that shift as you move around the space. At 6.3kg the fitting requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced mounting point. The 60° beam angle from each shade provides broad directional coverage without harsh spotlighting, spreading the 4000 lumens across a typical 20-25m² room footprint.

No. The integrated LED is rated at 61.5W on 220-240V mains and does not support dimmer compatibility. The light output is fixed at 4000 lumens.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 595mm drop from ceiling to lowest point suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. Lower ceilings can still accommodate the fitting but the visual balance and headroom clearance should be checked before installation.

Can the shades be repositioned?

Yes. Each shade rotates on its horizontal arm during installation, allowing the installer to scatter the shades in different directions and create a layered appearance. Once tightened the shades remain in the set position.

What size room does it light?

The 4000 lumens spread across a 60° beam angle from each of the eight shades provides sufficient ambient lighting for typical living or dining rooms up to 20-25m². Larger open-plan spaces may benefit from a second light source or supplementary task lighting.
