Description

The Capuccina is a 4-light LED semi-flush ceiling light built around four folded metal shades mounted on adjustable white arms, with an integrated 30W LED array producing 2,100 lumens of 3000K warm white light. Each shade is formed from overlapping metal planes that bend into an irregular cone shape, creating angled surfaces and defined shadow lines when lit. The arms extend from a central white ceiling plate in a linear arrangement, and each arm can be rotated slightly during installation to vary the orientation of the shades.

Designed for bedrooms, low-ceilinged living rooms and hallways with ceiling heights of 2.2-2.4m, the Capuccina delivers focused downward light from each cone while keeping a compact 255mm drop from the ceiling to the base of the lowest shade. The 800mm length suits rectangular rooms, positioned centrally over a double bed or running parallel to a hallway. The semi-flush mount provides more visual interest than a flush fitting while avoiding the vertical intrusion of a pendant. The 60° beam angle from each LED directs light downward rather than spreading it horizontally, making the fitting more suited to task and accent lighting than broad ambient wash.

The white powder-coated metal finish gives a clean, architectural appearance that pairs with Scandinavian, minimalist and modern interiors. The folded geometry of each shade creates tonal variation across the angled surfaces, even under daylight, with internal edges catching more shadow than external planes. The non-dimmable 30W LED is factory-fitted and rated for 3000K output, giving a warmer tone than typical office lighting but cooler than traditional incandescent. The 3.1kg weight requires secure fixing to a ceiling joist or reinforced plasterboard fixing.

No. The integrated 30W LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. The light operates at a fixed 2,100 lumen output when switched on.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 255mm drop from ceiling plate to lowest shade base makes the Capuccina suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above. In lower-ceilinged rooms the fitting may feel visually intrusive.

Can the arms be adjusted?

The arms can be rotated slightly during installation to vary the orientation of each shade, but they cannot be repositioned along the central bar or angled vertically. The linear 800mm arrangement is fixed.

What fixing is required for the weight?

At 3.1kg the Capuccina requires fixing into a ceiling joist or using heavy-duty plasterboard fixings rated to at least 5kg. Standard plasterboard plugs will not support the weight safely.
