Description

The Canto is a 180mm square pendant light with a rectangular polished nickel metal frame and clear acrylic panel inserts, housing a single E27 bulb fitting at the centre. The frame is constructed from flat metal bars forming a rectangular cage around the bulb, with clear acrylic panels set into the vertical faces to provide a transparent enclosure without obstructing light output.

Designed for kitchens, dining areas and hallways where a single pendant provides focused task or ambient light, the Canto's compact footprint suits smaller installations over breakfast bars, side tables and narrow work surfaces. The drop is adjustable between 380mm and 1320mm on installation, allowing the pendant to be set at the appropriate height for the ceiling and work surface below. The polished nickel finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with cooler-toned interiors, stainless steel appliances and chrome fittings.

The acrylic panels diffuse the bulb slightly while allowing most of the light to pass through unfiltered, making bulb choice critical to the final light quality. Pairing with a visible-filament LED or traditional squirrel-cage filament bulb turns the fitting into a decorative feature, while a frosted LED provides more diffused task light. The 1.2kg weight requires a standard UK ceiling rose or pendant hook capable of supporting light fittings.
