Description

The Canto is a 600mm linear suspension light with a graphite metal frame enclosing clear acrylic panels on all four sides, housing three downward-facing E27 bulb fittings spaced evenly along the length. The rectangular cage structure measures 600mm long by 260mm wide, with each of the three bulbs sitting inside individual metal cups that direct light downward while the clear acrylic sides allow light to escape horizontally.

Designed for kitchen islands, narrow dining tables and bar counters, the Canto provides direct task lighting over a work surface while the open acrylic sides cast additional ambient light into the surrounding room. The adjustable drop runs from 340mm minimum to 1320mm maximum, allowing the fitting to be positioned 700-900mm above a worktop or dining surface depending on ceiling height. The graphite finish sits between matt black and dark grey, pairing with stainless steel appliances, exposed brick and concrete finishes common in industrial and contemporary kitchens.

The frame is constructed from powder-coated steel with mitred corners and the acrylic panels are 3mm thick, clear grade material that resists yellowing under heat from the bulbs. Each E27 fitting accepts bulbs up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or decorative filament bulbs to match the colour temperature and brightness required. The combined weight of 2.5kg includes the metal frame, acrylic panels and ceiling rose, with the suspension cables rated to support the full assembly plus the weight of three installed bulbs.
