Description

A square base of 13cm holds a slim upright stem, both in polished chrome, and it is supplied ready for a shade of your own choosing. The metal is bright rather than brushed, so it picks up daylight and lamplight from around the room and reads as smaller than it really is. An inline switch on the flex means you can turn it on and off from where you sit, with no reaching behind furniture. It takes an E27 lamp of up to 20W, and it will dim where the lamp and the dimmer are matched to one another.

We would put this on a bedside table where space is tight, or use two either side of a long console in a hallway. It suits a small home office desk, a dressing table, or the shelf beside a reading chair, and because the footprint is compact it does not crowd books, a phone or a glass of water.
