A single GU10 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the canopy behind the mesh, casting light through the crystal strands and out through the perforations.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, entryways and smaller living rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above, the Camilla provides decorative accent lighting rather than high-output ambient light. The 250mm canopy diameter and 430mm drop suit spaces where a full pendant would hang too low but a flush fitting lacks visual presence. The semi-flush mount sits close to the ceiling while the crystal drop adds vertical interest and sparkle when the light is on.

The crystal beads are facet-cut to catch and refract light, creating reflective highlights on walls and ceilings when the GU10 is lit. The polished chrome canopy and mesh detail amplify these reflections, giving the fitting more visual presence than its single-bulb output suggests. The 1.5kg weight includes both the metal canopy and the full crystal assembly, so the fitting requires secure ceiling fixings into joists or plasterboard anchors rated for at least 3kg.

What bulb does it take?

The Camilla takes a single GU10 bulb up to 50W, sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED GU10 between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedroom or hallway lighting. Higher wattage bulbs increase brightness but also heat output inside the canopy.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if you use a dimmable GU10 bulb and pair it with a compatible GU10-rated dimmer switch. Non-dimmable LED bulbs will not dim even with a dimmer switch installed.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 430mm total drop works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m or above. In lower-ceiling spaces the crystal cone may feel visually dominant, though the semi-flush canopy keeps the fitting closer to the ceiling than a full pendant would sit.

How is the crystal cleaned?

Switch off the light and allow the bulb to cool. Wipe the crystal beads gently with a dry microfibre cloth. For more thorough cleaning, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water works, but avoid soaking the beads or using household sprays that can leave residue on the faceted surfaces.
