Description
The Camilla is a 10-light crystal semi-flush ceiling light built around cascading strands of clear faceted beads suspended from an 800mm x 500mm polished chrome oval canopy. The crystal strands hang in varied lengths, forming a waved curtain effect with larger faceted glass spheres positioned at intervals within the beaded cascade. Ten GU10 fittings are recessed into the chrome canopy above, directing light down through the crystal layers to create refracted patterns across the strands and surrounding surfaces.
Designed for living rooms, dining areas and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the 640mm drop from the canopy to the lowest crystal point gives the fitting a substantial presence without requiring the clearance of a full-drop chandelier. The semi-flush profile allows installation in rooms where a traditional chandelier would sit too low, while the spread of the oval canopy and the density of the crystal strands still provide decorative and ambient lighting across a 3-4m diameter area beneath.
The polished chrome finish reflects both daylight and the fitted GU10 light sources, amplifying the shimmer effect across the crystal. Each beaded strand features alternating bead sizes that create texture and visual depth when viewed from different angles within the room. The faceted glass spheres catch and scatter light in multiple directions, adding bright accent points within the otherwise diffuse glow of the ceiling fixture. At 10kg, the fitting requires secure mounting to a ceiling joist or reinforced fixing point capable of supporting the combined weight of the chrome frame and crystal assembly.
The Camilla accepts any standard GU10 LED, halogen or filament bulb up to 50W per socket (bulbs sold separately). When paired with dimmable GU10 LEDs and a compatible dimmer switch, the light output can be adjusted from full brightness for task-oriented use to lower levels for ambient evening lighting.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Camilla take?
The fitting takes ten GU10 bulbs, each up to 50W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED GU10 bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or living room lighting.
Is the Camilla dimmable?
Yes, when fitted with dimmable GU10 bulbs and connected to a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself is dimmer-ready; you control light levels through bulb choice and dimmer hardware.
What ceiling height is needed?
The 640mm drop from canopy to lowest crystal point works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. In a 2.4m room the lowest crystals would hang at approximately 1.76m from the floor, giving comfortable head clearance in circulation areas.
How is the weight supported during installation?
At 10kg, the Camilla requires mounting to a ceiling joist or a reinforced fixing point capable of supporting at least 15kg. Standard plasterboard alone is insufficient; the installer must locate solid timber or use appropriate cavity fixings rated for the load.
