The optic glass bowl uses vertical ribbing to diffuse light from the three candle-style bulbs inside, softening the direct output from filament or LED candle lamps without blocking it entirely. What bulbs does the Cambridge take?

Three E14 (small Edison screw) candle bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 4-6W and 2700K for a soft ambient effect in entrance halls.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 660mm means the fitting works in standard 2.4m ceiling-height rooms, with the base of the glass bowl sitting approximately 1.7m from the floor when set at minimum. The maximum 3670mm drop accommodates double-height entrance halls and stairwells.

Is the chain length adjustable?

Yes. The 3048mm chain can be shortened during installation by removing links, allowing the drop to be set anywhere between 660mm and 3670mm depending on your ceiling height and preferred hanging position.

How is the optic glass cleaned?

The ribbed glass bowl can be wiped with a soft damp cloth and dried immediately. For more thorough cleaning, the bowl can be removed from the brass mount once the bulbs are removed and the power is isolated, then washed in warm soapy water and dried before reassembly.
