Description

The Calviro is a 600mm ring chandelier built around a continuous torus of natural Spanish alabaster, suspended on four slim black cables from a brushed brass ceiling canopy. An integrated LED concealed within the ring casts warm 3000K light through the stone, so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser and no bulb or fitting is visible from below.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands, open-plan living spaces and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.5m or higher, the Calviro works as both ambient and decorative lighting. The wide 600mm diameter gives a generous spread of light over a 6-8 seat dining table or a 1.8-2.4m kitchen island, and the four-cable suspension allows the drop to be set during installation to suit the room.

Each ring is cut and shaped from natural alabaster, so the veining, mineral patterning and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. The 80mm section gives the ring a soft, rounded profile rather than a flat disc, and the stone reads as a single continuous loop when lit. The brushed brass canopy and cable fixings provide warm metallic punctuation against the soft white stone without competing with it.
