Description

The Calvero is a 640mm table lamp built around a tapered marble base cut into a diamond-faceted profile, mounted on a circular brushed brass plinth. The white marble body shows soft grey veining across angled planar surfaces that converge towards a narrower neck. A slim brass stem rises from the apex of the stone to support a 350mm white PVC drum shade, with a single concealed E27 lamp socket inside the upper fitting.

The Calvero suits bedside tables, console tables in entrance halls, and side tables in living rooms where a table lamp needs to provide soft ambient light without dominating the surface. The 350mm shade diameter gives a generous spread of diffused light from a single E27 bulb (sold separately), and the 640mm overall height sits comfortably on a 450-550mm bedside cabinet, putting the bulb at typical reading-light level when seated in bed.

Material contrast is the defining feature: cool white marble against warm brushed brass, angular faceted stone against a smooth cylindrical fabric shade. Each marble base shows different veining patterns because the grey markings run naturally through the stone, so no two Calvero bases look identical. What bulb does the Calvero take?

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient bedside or living-room light. Match the bulb wattage to the lamp's maximum rating shown on the fitting label.

Is the marble base genuine stone?

Yes. The faceted base is cut from real marble, which is why the grey veining varies between individual lamps. The natural variation in pattern, tone and translucency is a feature of the stone rather than a defect, so each Calvero base looks slightly different.

Does it come with a shade and bulb?

The 350mm white PVC drum shade is included. The E27 bulb is sold separately so you can choose the colour temperature, brightness and bulb style that suits the room.

How is the marble cleaned?

Wipe the marble base gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners on the marble or brass.
