Description

The Calliera is an LED flush ceiling light built from three linked square frames, each with a black outer edge, a brass inner face and a white plastic diffuser that softens the glow. The body is steel and plastic in black and brass, and the whole light measures 59.5cm long, 31cm wide and 9cm high, so it sits close to the ceiling and keeps headroom clear. The LEDs are integrated, drawing 20W and giving 2,500lm at 4000K, a crisp neutral white. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in a dry room, never in a bathroom or outdoors.

We see it working hardest in a living room, a study or a bedroom, anywhere a single central light needs to cover a good stretch of ceiling. At 59.5cm long it suits a rectangular room or the space over a sofa or a run of shelving, and the staggered frames give a plain ceiling some shape even before it is lit. The black and brass pairing works with dark metal, warm wood and pale walls alike, and the brass faces catch the light from inside each frame.
