Description

The Calla is a 3 light cluster pendant with a 200mm matt black steel ceiling plate and three E27 lamp holders suspended on black fabric flex cables. Each cable measures 1.8m in length and is fully adjustable during installation, allowing the three drops to be set at different heights or kept level depending on the space.

Designed for stairwells, hallway voids, double-height entrance halls and rooms with ceiling heights above 2.7m, the Calla works as both functional light and vertical sculpture. The three drops can be staggered to follow a staircase rise, clustered at similar heights over a console table, or spread evenly across the 200mm ceiling plate for symmetrical coverage. The matt black finish provides strong visual weight without bulk, anchoring the composition in mid-air.

The lamp holders are styled to resemble early industrial fittings, with ridged metal bodies and visible screw threads. Each takes a standard E27 bulb up to 40W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose filament-style bulbs for visible warmth or frosted LED bulbs for brighter task light. The pressed steel construction and IP20 rating suit dry interior spaces only.

What bulbs does it take?

The Calla takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs, each up to 40W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white filament-style LED bulbs at 4-6W and 2200K-2700K to highlight the industrial lamp holder design.

Can the cable lengths be adjusted?

Yes. Each of the three cables is 1.8m long and can be shortened during installation. This allows the drops to be staggered at different heights for stairwells or kept at a uniform level for symmetrical installations over tables or in hallway voids.

Is it dimmable?

Dimming depends on the bulb choice. If you fit dimmable E27 LED bulbs and pair them with a compatible dimmer switch, the Calla will dim. Non-dimmable bulbs will not respond to dimmer controls.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1.8m cable length and 1940mm maximum projection suit rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In standard 2.4m ceiling rooms the cables would need to be shortened significantly, limiting flexibility in drop positioning.
