Description

The Calla is a 3-light cluster pendant with three E27 lamp holders suspended on grey flex cables from a 200mm brushed chrome ceiling plate. Each cable drops 1.8m and can be adjusted on installation to create a staggered cluster or a level arrangement depending on ceiling height and room proportions. The lamp holders are finished in brushed chrome to match the ceiling plate.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where grouped light sources are preferred over a single central pendant, the Calla provides three points of light from one ceiling connection. The 200mm ceiling plate is compact enough to fit standard UK ceiling roses and the brushed chrome finish pairs with both warm-toned and cooler contemporary interiors. The grey flex adds visual weight to the cables without dominating the colour palette of the room.

The pendant accepts three E27 bulbs up to 40W each (sold separately), allowing users to choose filament-style bulbs for decorative warmth or LED bulbs for energy efficiency and longer lifespan. The brushed chrome finish on the ceiling plate and lamp holders softens light reflections compared to polished chrome, giving a less mirror-like surface that works comfortably in residential settings. The pressed steel construction keeps the overall weight manageable for plasterboard ceilings with standard fixings.

What bulbs does the Calla take?

The pendant takes three E27 (Edison screw) bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED filament bulbs between 4-6W and 2200K-2700K to create ambient dining or kitchen island lighting.

Can the cable lengths be adjusted?

Yes. Each 1.8m cable can be shortened during installation to create a staggered cluster effect or to suit lower ceiling heights. Once installed the cables are fixed at the chosen length.

Is the Calla dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs you install. If you fit dimmable LED or halogen E27 bulbs, the pendant will dim when connected to a compatible dimmer switch. Non-dimmable bulbs will not dim and may flicker or fail if used with a dimmer.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 1.8m drop suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above when hung over a dining table or kitchen island. For lower ceilings the cables can be shortened to reduce the overall projection.
