Description

The Caldrin is a 400mm-tall table lamp built around a solid cylindrical stone column and a broad 360mm white glass dome shade. The shade sits on three slim black metal stems rising from a black disc set on top of the stone, with a single G5 socket positioned centrally beneath the dome. The contrast between the heavy banded stone base and the light, hovering glass cap gives the lamp a mushroom-like silhouette.

Sized for sideboards, console tables, bedside tables and wide hallway tables, the Caldrin works as ambient lighting rather than directed task light. The opal glass dome diffuses the bulb evenly across its underside, casting soft downward light onto the surface below and a gentler glow into the surrounding room. The 360mm shade diameter is wide enough to anchor a console but compact enough to sit comfortably on a 400mm-deep bedside table.
