What bulb does the Caldrin take?

The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair it with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient light through the grey shade. The maximum wattage should be checked against the rating label on the lamp holder before fitting.

Does the marble vary between lamps?

Yes. Each base is cut from natural marble, so the veining pattern, tonal depth and direction of the striations differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone rather than a defect, and means each Caldrin is visually unique.

At 670mm tall with a 400mm shade diameter, the Caldrin suits console tables in hallways, sideboards in living rooms, and larger bedside tables. For smaller bedside tables under 400mm wide, the shade may overhang the surface, so check the table dimensions against the 400mm shade before ordering.

How is the marble cleaned?

Wipe the marble base with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone or using household sprays, polishes or acidic cleaners, which can etch or stain polished marble.
