Calbette Glass Pendant Light - Grey & Satin Nickel

The Calbette is a ceiling pendant with a domed shade of white alabaster glass, its gentle swirled pattern running right through the glass. Alabaster glass softens and spreads the light of the bulb behind it, so the glow is even rather than harsh. The fittings are grey and satin nickel, made of plastic and steel, and the light measures 110cm tall overall with a shade 36cm across. It takes one E27 bulb of a maximum of 60W, which you choose yourself, as the bulb is not included. It is rated IP20, and that settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

This is a rise-and-fall pendant, so its height is adjustable by hand. That makes it a natural choice for a kitchen island or a dining table: draw the shade low for a close pool of light while you eat, then lift it clear when you want the room open again.
