Description

The Cala is a 52cm cylindrical tube pendant light finished in sand white, housing an integrated 6W LED that projects 420 lumens of 3000K warm white light downward from the base of the tube. The pendant sits on a 100mm-diameter circular ceiling plate in black, with a single cable drop adjustable between 530mm and 2550mm on installation.

Designed for kitchen islands, bar counters, hallways and dining tables where focused downlight is needed without a wide spread, the Cala directs light onto a surface beneath rather than illuminating a full room. Multiple Cala pendants can be installed in a row over longer surfaces, with the adjustable drop allowing each pendant to be set at the same height regardless of ceiling irregularities. The 100mm tube diameter keeps the visual footprint narrow enough for clusters without crowding.

The sand white finish is a textured matt coating that sits between pure white and beige, providing visual warmth without the starkness of gloss white. The black ceiling plate and cable contrast with the tube, giving definition to the top of the fitting. At 0.6kg the pendant is light enough to hang from standard ceiling roses without additional support, and the non-dimmable LED driver is integrated into the ceiling plate housing.

The narrow 100mm diameter keeps the tube reading as a single slim line from below, which is why grouping several along a surface stays visually calm rather than busy. The integrated driver sits within the black ceiling plate rather than in a separate box, and the 3 year warranty covers both the LED and the electrical parts.

Is the Cala dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The 6W output at 420lm is fixed and cannot be adjusted via a dimmer switch.

What ceiling height works best?

The 530-2550mm adjustable drop allows the pendant to suit ceiling heights from 2.4m to 3.5m or higher. For a kitchen island or bar counter, setting the base of the tube 700-900mm above the worktop provides focused task light without glare at eye level when standing.

Can multiple Cala pendants be installed together?

Yes. The narrow 100mm diameter and focused downlight beam make the Cala well-suited to clustering over long kitchen islands or bar counters. Space pendants 400-600mm apart for even coverage along a 2-3m surface.

How is the drop length adjusted?

The cable is adjusted during installation by shortening the excess cable inside the ceiling plate housing. Once set, the drop is fixed. The cable does not slide or adjust after fitting.
