Description

The Cala is a 52cm tube pendant light with a 100mm diameter cylindrical body finished in matt sand black, housing an integrated 6W LED that casts 420 lumens of warm 3000K light downwards. The tube itself becomes the fitting, with no visible lampshade or external diffuser — the LED sits inside the cylinder and light exits from the base, creating a focused downlight beam.

Designed for installation over bar counters, kitchen islands, dining tables and corridors, the Cala suits spaces with ceiling heights between 2.4m and 5m. The suspension cable adjusts from 530mm minimum to 2550mm maximum drop, allowing the pendant to be set at counter height (typically 600-800mm above surface) or higher for ambient wash lighting. The 100mm diameter keeps the visual footprint narrow, making the Cala suitable for multi-pendant installations where three or five fittings are spaced along a run without crowding the sightline.

The sand black finish is a low-sheen matt coating with a fine granular texture, softer and less reflective than gloss black but denser than a powder coat. The seamless construction hides all cable entries and fixings inside the canopy, leaving only the clean cylinder visible from below. At 0.6kg the fitting is light enough for plasterboard ceiling installation with standard fixings. The non-dimmable integrated LED runs at 6W and provides a warm white output that pairs comfortably with natural timber, warm neutrals and brass accents in modern and industrial interiors.
