Description

The Caicos is a dual-function wall light combining a fixed arm with E27 socket and white fabric shade for ambient light, plus a flexible 3W LED reading arm delivering focused 3000K warm white light. Both light sources are controlled independently via separate rocker switches on the satin nickel backplate, which also houses a USB charging port positioned between the two switches for direct device charging without needing an adaptor.

Designed for bedside mounting in hotel rooms, guest bedrooms and master suites, the Caicos provides both overhead ambient light for general room use and directed reading light for bed-time reading without disturbing a partner. The flexible LED arm bends to position the 210-lumen beam at the pillow, book or tablet, while the fabric-shaded ambient light casts softer diffused illumination across the room. The 250mm projection from the wall keeps the shade clear of headboards and allows the reading arm to reach over a typical bedside table.

The satin nickel finish provides a brushed metallic surface that resists fingerprints and pairs with both warm and cool colour schemes. The white fabric shade diffuses light from any standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose colour temperature and brightness independently from the fixed 3000K reading arm. The integrated USB port supports standard 5V charging for phones, tablets and e-readers directly at the bedside.

Can the LED reading arm be replaced if it fails?

The 3W LED reading arm is integrated into the unit. LED failure is rare within the 3-year warranty period, but the arm cannot be replaced separately. The entire fitting would need replacing if the LED fails outside warranty.

What bulb does the main shade take?

The fabric-shaded arm takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to match the reading arm temperature.

How is the light switched on and off?

Two separate rocker switches on the backplate control the ambient shade light and the LED reading arm independently. The USB port is permanently live when the fitting is wired to mains power.

What USB output does the charging port provide?

The integrated USB port provides standard 5V output suitable for charging smartphones, tablets and e-readers. It does not support fast-charge protocols, so charging speed will be slower than a dedicated fast charger.
