Description

The Cagliari is a ceiling fan with light in a matt white finish, with a steel body and a four-blade design that sits close to the ceiling. It measures 106.6cm in diameter and 29.5cm tall, so it suits rooms where a fan hanging on a long rod would feel in the way. Beneath the motor housing sits a white painted glass dome shade that takes an E27 bulb of up to 60W. The bulb is not included, which leaves you free to choose the colour of light you like best. The light is not dimmable, so pick a bulb with the brightness the room needs. It is rated IP20, which means it belongs indoors in dry rooms.

A flush ceiling fan like this earns its place in a living room, bedroom, home office or dining room, anywhere you want moving air and a main light from a single fitting. With three speeds, you can run a gentle breeze overnight in a bedroom or turn it higher on a warm afternoon in the lounge. It is reversible too, adding to the ways you can set it. The matt white finish keeps it understated against a white or pale ceiling, letting your furniture and colours do the talking.

The steel body carries the matt white finish, and the painted glass shade gives a soft white glow whenever the bulb is lit. Speed and light are set with pull cords that hang from the centre of the fan, a simple control that anyone in the house can use. It runs from a 220-240V, 50Hz supply and, as a wired-in fitting, should be installed by a qualified electrician. The installation instructions come as a download. Packed, it weighs 4.4KG, and as the bulb is not included, it is worth having an E27 bulb of up to 60W ready for fitting day.
