Description
The Caelith is a 980mm two-tier panel chandelier built from vertical Spanish alabaster slabs and brushed brass channels arranged across two stacked circular rings. Twenty G4 capsule bulbs sit behind the panels, casting light through the natural stone and reflecting off the polished brass between each alabaster section. The fitting measures 800mm tall with a 1000mm adjustable cable drop.
Designed for tall rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or more, the Caelith suits double-height entrance halls, stairwells, formal dining rooms and open-plan living spaces with vaulted or coffered ceilings. The descending two-tier silhouette fills vertical space without crowding the room beneath, and the cable drop can be adjusted on installation to set the lower tier at the appropriate height above a dining table or floor.
Each alabaster panel is cut from a different section of natural Spanish stone, so the veining, mineral patterning and translucency vary across the chandelier. Some panels show pale ivory tones with fine grey fissures; others carry deeper amber and caramel veining that warms further when lit. The brushed brass channels between the panels reflect this colour shift, so the chandelier reads differently when off (architectural, sculptural) than when lit (warm, glowing, layered).
The frame is constructed from solid copper and aluminium with a brushed brass finish, giving the 980mm-diameter fitting structural rigidity without excessive weight. The two-tier arrangement increases lit surface area and overall luminance compared to a single-tier chandelier of the same diameter, making the Caelith suitable as a primary light source for larger rooms.

Frequently Asked
What ceiling height does the Caelith need?
The chandelier is 800mm tall on a 1000mm adjustable cable drop, giving a maximum drop of around 1.8m from the ceiling. It is best suited to rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or more, such as double-height halls, stairwells and vaulted dining rooms. The cables can be shortened on installation to suit lower ceilings.
Which bulbs does the Caelith 2 Tier take, and is it dimmable?
The chandelier takes twenty G4 capsule bulbs, which are not supplied with the fitting. Dimming depends on both the bulbs fitted and the dimmer used, as not all capsule bulbs are dimmable, so please contact us before pairing the chandelier with a dimmer.
Does the alabaster vary between panels?
Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal range and translucency differ between panels and between individual chandeliers. The mix of paler ivory panels and deeper amber-veined panels is part of the natural material and not a manufacturing inconsistency.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the panels gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone. The brushed brass channels can be dusted with the same dry cloth.
