Description

The Caelis is a 335mm sculptural table lamp built from three distinct elements: a low rectangular brushed brass base, an angled asymmetric brass back panel, and a faceted block of natural Spanish alabaster set in front. An integrated 10W 3000K LED sits behind the alabaster, lighting the stone from within so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser. Overall dimensions are 335mm high, 300mm long and 170mm deep.

Suited to console tables, sideboards, desks, bedside tables and reading corners, the Caelis works as decorative ambient lighting rather than task light. The 300mm length sits comfortably on standard 350-400mm deep console tables, and the lamp casts a soft warm wash across surrounding surfaces without throwing harsh directional light. Wired for 230V mains, it plugs into a standard UK socket.

The brushed brass finish on the stainless steel base and back panel has a low-sheen, slightly aged tone that pairs with both warm and cooler interior palettes. The alabaster block is cut from a single piece of natural Spanish stone, so the cloudy white patterning, fine veining and translucency vary between individual lamps. The faceted geometry of the alabaster contrasts against the smooth metal panels behind it, giving the lamp visual depth from any viewing angle.

Yes. Each block is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the cloudy patterning, veining and translucency differ between individual lamps. Variation in the stone is part of the material's character, not a defect.
