Description

The Cabaret is an LED wall light with a satin brass frame and a clear curved glass shade, housing an integrated 8W 3000K LED. The brass backplate and arm support a trapezoidal glass shade that widens from the top, with the LED module mounted inside the glass to diffuse light across the transparent surfaces.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living rooms where soft ambient wall wash is needed without harsh downward beams, the Cabaret sits 170mm proud of the wall and casts a gentle glow across adjacent surfaces. The compact 230mm width suits corridors and bedside positions where larger wall lights would overwhelm the space. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor rooms only.

The satin brass finish provides a warmer metallic tone than polished brass or chrome, with a low-sheen surface that reduces glare from other room lighting. The curved glass shade is moulded rather than flat-cut, giving the fitting visual depth when viewed at an angle. At 8W the integrated LED delivers ambient rather than task-level brightness, so the fitting works best paired with other light sources rather than as sole illumination.

The integrated LED is rated at 8W on 220-240V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is not splash-resistant and must only be installed in dry indoor rooms. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher.

What colour is the brass finish?

The brass finish is satin rather than polished, giving a warmer, lower-sheen metallic tone. It sits between antique brass (which has darker tarnish) and polished brass (which is highly reflective).

Is the glass shade replaceable if damaged?

Replacement glass shades are not typically sold separately by Maytoni. Contact us if you need a replacement part and we can check availability with the manufacturer.
