Description

The Knightsbridge BT EVO is a 300mm LED bulkhead with adjustable wattage (14W/16W/18W) and selectable colour temperature (3000K/4000K/5700K), controlled via on-board DIP switches that allow the fitting to be configured for different light levels and tones without changing hardware. The integrated LED delivers between 1,300-1,800 lumens depending on the wattage and CCT combination selected, with DALI and push-dim compatibility for smooth dimming control.

Designed for commercial corridors, stairwells, industrial zones, external building facades and residential utility areas, the bulkhead carries IP65 rating for dust and water ingress protection and IK10 impact resistance, making it suitable for locations where fixtures may be exposed to hose-down cleaning, coastal moisture or accidental knocks. The UV-stabilised polycarbonate body and diffuser resist yellowing under prolonged outdoor UV exposure, maintaining the white finish over time.

The 65mm projection from the mounting surface keeps the profile low for ceiling and wall mounting where headroom or clearance is limited. Installation uses push-fit terminals for fast wiring, and the diffuser locks on via a twist-lock mechanism that allows access to the gear tray without tools for lamp replacement or maintenance checks. The hinged gear tray swings clear once the diffuser is removed, exposing the driver and DIP switches. Optional bezel accessories (sold separately) in black, chrome and eyelid styles allow the appearance to be adjusted for different interior or exterior schemes.

The BT EVO uses DIP switches on the driver, accessible by removing the twist-lock diffuser and opening the hinged gear tray. The switches allow selection between 14W, 16W and 18W output, and between 3000K warm white, 4000K neutral white and 5700K cool white colour temperatures.

What dimming protocols does it support?

This model supports DALI dimming and push-dim control. DALI requires a DALI-compatible control system with addressable ballast wiring. Push-dim allows dimming via a standard momentary switch wired into the mains circuit.

Is it suitable for outdoor use?

Yes. The IP65 rating provides complete protection against dust and water jets, making it suitable for external wall and soffit mounting where the fitting is exposed to rain. The IK10 impact rating means it can withstand 20 joules of impact force, suitable for areas where accidental knocks may occur.

What is the beam angle and light distribution?

The bulkhead provides a 130-degree beam angle with a wide flood distribution, suitable for general area lighting rather than focused task lighting. The opal polycarbonate diffuser spreads the light evenly across walls and ceilings.
