Description

The Brompton is a flush ceiling light with a brushed brass stepped metal rim and an opal glass diffuser, built around a single GX53 LED lamp socket. The fitting sits 100mm from the ceiling surface with a 310mm diameter, giving a low-profile presence suited to rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m or spaces where a pendant drop would obstruct movement.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways, bathrooms and landings, the Brompton carries an IP44 rating that allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3 where splashing water is present. The opal glass diffuser spreads light evenly across the ceiling plane and down into the room, providing ambient fill rather than directed task light. The fitting pairs with a 5.7W GX53 LED lamp (included) that sits recessed inside the glass bowl.

The brushed brass rim uses a stepped profile with concentric grooves that reference 1930s Art Deco detailing, giving the fitting a period character without requiring a high ceiling. The brushed finish softens reflections and pairs with both warm brass tapware in bathrooms and brass door furniture in hallways. The steel construction and IP44-rated gasket between glass and metal ensure the fitting withstands condensation in bathroom environments.
