Description

The Brinley is a 282mm semi-flush ceiling light with three clear glass jar-style shades mounted on a circular brushed brass frame. Each shade encloses an E27 bulb (sold separately, up to 60W per socket) and sits flush against the ceiling with a 201mm projection from the mounting point, making it suited to rooms with ceiling heights under 2.4m where a full-drop pendant would hang too low.

Designed for kitchens, hallways, utility rooms and bedrooms, the Brinley provides general illumination across a 3-4m room while keeping the light source visible rather than hidden. The clear glass shows the bulb filament when lit, so pairing with decorative filament LED or vintage-style bulbs gives the fitting additional character. The brushed brass frame has a satin finish that reduces glare under kitchen downlighters.

The three glass shades are individually removable for bulb changes without dismounting the entire fitting from the ceiling. The brass frame and glass construction give the Brinley a 1.2kg weight that requires secure fixing into a ceiling joist or plasterboard anchor rated for the load.
