Description
The Brillix is a 100cm tall anthracite LED bollard light built from die-cast aluminium with an integrated LED module producing 4000K neutral white light. The bollard consists of a square-section column with an angled head that directs light downwards and forward, casting a path of illumination across driveways, garden pathways and patio edges without glare at eye level.
Designed for residential and commercial outdoor installations where consistent pathway lighting is needed, the Brillix suits front gardens, side passages between properties, driveways leading to garages, and perimeter paths around buildings. The 100cm height positions the light source above typical ground-level plantings while remaining below window-sill level on most single-storey properties. The IP54 rating provides protection against dust ingress and water spray from any direction, allowing the bollard to be installed in exposed positions including coastal areas.
The anthracite powder-coated finish on the aluminium body provides corrosion resistance and a low-sheen surface that sits comfortably against dark paving, charcoal render and slate cladding. The die-cast construction gives the bollard rigidity without excessive weight, and the base plate allows for surface mounting onto concrete pads or fixing through paving slabs. The 4000K colour temperature produces a crisp, neutral light that renders colours accurately and provides good visibility for safe navigation after dark.
The Brillix is supplied by Ideal Lux, an Italian manufacturer with over 40 years of producing architectural and residential lighting for European markets. The integrated LED removes the need for bulb replacement, and the 5-year warranty covers manufacturing defects in the LED module, driver and housing.

Frequently Asked
What is the IP54 rating and where can this bollard be installed?
IP54 means the bollard is dust-protected and can withstand water spray from any direction. It can be installed in exposed outdoor positions including driveways, pathways, patios and coastal gardens. It is not submersible and should not be installed where it would be under standing water.
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The LED module is integrated into the bollard and is not user-replaceable. The 5-year warranty covers LED failure, and typical LED lifespan for outdoor bollards of this type is 30,000-50,000 hours.
How is the bollard mounted?
The base plate allows for surface mounting onto a concrete pad or paving slab using masonry fixings. The electrical cable enters through the base, so a conduit run or cable trench is needed to bring the mains supply to the mounting position. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
What colour temperature is 4000K?
4000K is neutral white, sitting between warm white (2700-3000K) and cool white (5000K+). It produces a crisp, clear light that renders colours accurately and provides good visibility for navigation and security lighting without the yellow cast of warm white or the blue tint of cool white.
