The Brillia is a 110mm diameter ceiling-mounted track lighting adapter in black, designed to interface between a standard ceiling rose or junction box and a track lighting rail system. The adapter provides the electrical connection and mechanical fixing point for the track, allowing power to be fed from a fixed ceiling position into a reconfigurable track system.

Designed for residential and commercial interiors where track lighting is installed across kitchens, retail spaces, galleries and offices, the Brillia adapter mounts flush to the ceiling and accepts standard UK mains wiring. The IP20 rating restricts the adapter to dry indoor locations — it is not suitable for bathrooms, outdoor use, or any environment where moisture or splashing is present. The black finish blends into dark ceiling surfaces and track rails, minimising visual prominence.

The plastic construction keeps the adapter lightweight and reduces heat transfer from the electrical connection to the ceiling surface. The adapter itself is not dimmable. Dimming capability depends on the track lighting system and bulbs connected downstream. If dimmable LED track heads are used, the dimmer must be installed upstream of this adapter in the circuit.

What ceiling depth is required for installation?

The adapter requires access to a ceiling void or junction box with sufficient depth to accommodate the electrical terminations. A minimum void depth of 50mm above the ceiling surface is recommended for safe installation and cable management.
