Description

The Brillia is a 5m adjustable suspension cable kit consisting of a steel wire rope, a white-coated metal wall or ceiling bracket, a threaded tensioner barrel with grub screw, and fixing hardware. The kit is designed to suspend pendant lights from sloped ceilings, high ceilings, or non-centred positions where the electrical outlet does not align with the desired hanging point.

Used in residential and commercial installations where pendant lights need to be repositioned horizontally or dropped from a greater height than standard flex allows, the Brillia routes the electrical cable inside or alongside the steel suspension wire. The bracket fixes to a ceiling joist or solid wall, the steel wire threads through the tensioner barrel, and the pendant light hangs from the lower terminal. Adjusting the grub screw on the tensioner raises or lowers the pendant after installation.

The 5m wire length accommodates ceiling heights up to approximately 4.5m depending on the desired drop of the pendant and the horizontal distance between the bracket and the electrical outlet. The white finish on the bracket and tensioner barrel pairs with white or light-toned ceilings to minimise visual intrusion. This kit does not include a ceiling rose — the electrical connection must be made separately using a standard ceiling rose or junction box at the outlet point.

Does this kit include a ceiling rose?

No. The Brillia suspension kit provides the mechanical support for hanging a pendant light but does not include the electrical ceiling rose. You will need a separate ceiling rose or junction box to make the electrical connection at the outlet point.
