Description

The Brillia 3-phase track power input is a mid-feed electrical connector that brings mains power into a 3-phase track lighting system at any point along the track run, rather than only at the end. Moulded in black plastic with visible screw terminals on the top surface, the unit measures 168mm long by 56mm wide by 35mm tall and clips directly into the track profile using the same rail mounting as individual track spotlights.

Designed for non-dimmable 3-phase track systems in retail, gallery, office and hospitality installations, the mid-feed input allows power to be introduced where the track run is furthest from the ceiling rose or where cable routing makes an end-feed impractical. The integrated on/off switch on the unit body isolates the entire downstream section of track without needing to switch off at the consumer unit, useful during maintenance or when reconfiguring spotlight positions.

The IP20 rating provides protection against solid objects larger than 12.5mm and finger contact with live parts, making the unit suitable for indoor dry environments. The black finish matches Ideal Lux black track profiles and black spotlight heads. The five-year warranty covers manufacturing defects and electrical failures under normal use.

Is this compatible with single-circuit track systems?

No. This power input is designed specifically for 3-phase track systems where three separate circuits run through the track profile. It will not fit or function correctly on single-circuit or 2-wire track.

Can I dim the lights connected to this power input?

No. The unit is rated for non-dimmable operation only. If dimming is required, it must be controlled upstream at the lighting circuit level before power reaches this input, and all connected spotlights must be dimmable-rated.

What does the on/off switch control?

The integrated switch isolates power to the section of track downstream from the input. It allows individual zones of a larger track system to be switched off without needing to isolate the entire circuit at the consumer unit.
