Is this compatible with single-phase track?

No. This power input is designed exclusively for 3-phase track systems where three independent circuits run through the track rail, allowing different groups of track heads to be controlled separately. Single-phase track requires a different power input.

What tools are needed for installation?

Installation requires a Phillips screwdriver to open the housing and secure the mains and control wiring to the terminals, wire strippers, and a voltage tester to confirm the mains supply is isolated before connection. Can it be painted to match the ceiling?
