Description

The Brillia 3-Phase Trim Track Middle Power Input is a mid-run connector that brings mains power into a 3-phase track lighting system at any point along the track length, rather than just at the end. The unit accepts a 1-10V dimming signal, allowing compatible track fixtures to be dimmed from a separate control system, and is finished in white plastic with a low-profile 37mm height and 205mm length.

Designed for commercial retail, hospitality and residential track lighting installations where power needs to enter the track mid-span rather than at the fixed end feed, this middle power input suits open-plan spaces, galleries and shop floors where track runs exceed the safe cable run length from a single end feed, or where the mains supply point sits inconveniently between two track ends. The IP20 rating makes it suitable for dry indoor locations only.

The white finish matches standard white track systems and blends into ceiling planes painted in whites and off-whites. The 1-10V dimming input uses a separate low-voltage control signal from a compatible dimmer, allowing multiple track fixtures to be controlled together without needing individual dimming ballasts in each light. The 58mm projection from the track includes the connection housing and mounting plate.

Frequently Asked

What's the difference between a middle power input and an end feed?

An end feed brings power into a track system at one of the two track ends. A middle power input like the Brillia brings power into the track at any point along its length, which is useful when the mains supply point sits between two track ends or when a long track run needs power fed from multiple points to avoid voltage drop.

What does 1-10V dimming mean?

1-10V dimming uses a separate low-voltage control signal (between 1V and 10V) from a compatible dimmer to control brightness. 10V represents full brightness, 1V represents minimum brightness. This requires a 1-10V dimmer and track fixtures that support 1-10V control — standard phase-cut dimmers will not work with this power input.

Can it be used outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating provides protection against dust and solid objects larger than 12mm, but offers no protection against moisture. Use this power input only in dry indoor spaces.

What track systems is it compatible with?

The Brillia is designed for Ideal Lux 3-phase track systems. Compatibility with other brands' 3-phase track depends on the physical mounting profile and electrical phase configuration — contact us before pairing with non-Ideal Lux track to confirm compatibility.
