Description

The Brillia 3-phase track end-left power input is a white plastic termination piece that brings mains power into a track lighting system from the left-hand side when viewed from the front. The unit measures 99mm long by 56mm in projection by 35mm high, and includes an integrated on-off switch to control the entire track circuit without needing a separate wall switch.

Designed for retail, hospitality, kitchen and office installations where track lighting is ceiling-mounted or surface-mounted on a beam or bulkhead, the end-left configuration positions the incoming mains cable on the left side of the track run. The on-off toggle gives local control at the track itself, which is useful when the track is installed in locations where adding a wall switch would be impractical or where multiple tracks share a circuit but need independent control.

The white plastic housing matches standard white track rail profiles and blends into white or light-coloured ceilings without standing out. The IP20 rating protects the internal terminals against dust and fingers but does not provide moisture protection, so the unit is suitable for dry indoor environments only. The power input is not dimmable — it provides switched mains voltage to the track, and any dimming must be handled upstream at the circuit breaker or via compatible dimmable track heads.

What's the difference between end-left and end-right power inputs?

The designation refers to which side of the track the mains cable enters when you're facing the track from the front. End-left brings power in from the left side, end-right from the right. Choose based on where your ceiling wiring is positioned relative to the track run.

Can this be used with dimmable track heads?

The power input itself is not dimmable and supplies fixed mains voltage to the track. If you need to dim the lights, you must install a compatible dimmer upstream in the circuit, or use track heads with built-in dimming capability where supported.

What track rail does this fit?

The Brillia power input is designed for Ideal Lux 3-phase track systems. It may not be compatible with single-circuit or two-circuit tracks, or with track from other manufacturers. Confirm compatibility with your specific track rail before ordering.

Is it suitable for bathroom or outdoor use?

No. The IP20 rating provides protection against dust and solid objects larger than 12.5mm, but offers no moisture protection. Use only in dry indoor locations such as living rooms, kitchens, offices and retail spaces.
