Description

The Brillia 3-phase track end-left power input is a black plastic connector that feeds mains power into an Ideal Lux 3-phase track system from the left-hand end of the track run. It includes an integrated on/off switch, allowing the entire track circuit to be isolated without removing the power input or switching at the mains. The unit measures 99mm long by 56mm projection by 35mm high and carries an IP20 rating for dry indoor installation.

Designed for kitchens, offices, galleries and retail environments where track lighting needs to be powered from one end rather than the middle or ceiling, the left-hand orientation determines which side of the track the power cable enters. The on/off switch sits on the visible top surface of the connector, giving manual control over all fixtures connected to that track run. The unit clips directly onto the track rail and connects to mains cabling via a terminal block inside the housing.

The black plastic housing matches the finish of Ideal Lux black track systems, creating a consistent visual line when installed. The 3-phase configuration supports independent switching of three separate circuits along the same track, allowing different groups of spotlights or pendants to be controlled separately if wired accordingly. The 5-year warranty from Ideal Lux covers manufacturing defects and component failure under normal indoor use.

Frequently Asked

What does 'end-left' mean for this power input?

The 'end-left' orientation means the power cable enters from the left-hand side when facing the track. This determines the physical placement at installation — choose end-left or end-right based on where your mains cable drops from the ceiling or wall.

Is this compatible with all 3-phase track systems?

This power input is designed specifically for Ideal Lux 3-phase track systems. It may not fit track rails from other manufacturers due to differing rail profiles and contact configurations. Confirm compatibility before ordering if mixing brands.

Can the on/off switch control individual lights?

No. The on/off switch controls the entire track circuit — all fixtures connected to that track run. Individual light control requires fixtures with their own switches or a separately-wired control system along the 3-phase rail.

What's the difference between this and a centre power feed?

An end power input feeds the track from one end of the rail, while a centre power feed connects in the middle of a track run. End feeds are used when the track terminates near a wall or corner; centre feeds suit longer runs where the power drop is centrally located.
