Description

The Brillia L-connector creates a right-angle join between two runs of 3-phase track lighting rail, allowing track layouts to turn 90 degrees to the right. The connector houses three separate live circuits plus neutral and earth, maintaining electrical separation across all three phases as the track changes direction. The black plastic housing measures 120mm along each arm with a 35mm profile height, matching standard 3-phase track dimensions.

Designed for commercial retail lighting, gallery installations, showrooms and office environments where track layouts need to follow wall angles or create L-shaped configurations around room perimeters. The connector supports 1-10V dimming control, allowing all three phases to be dimmed simultaneously when paired with compatible drivers and a 1-10V control system. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from direct water contact.

The plastic construction keeps the connector lightweight at under 200g, simplifying ceiling installation compared to metal alternatives. Two fixing screws secure the cover plate to the internal contact assembly. The connector clicks into position on the track rail without tools, with spring-loaded contacts that grip the conductive strips inside the track channel. The right-angle configuration is handed — this version turns the track to the right when viewed from the feed end, so left-hand turns require a separate left-hand connector.

What's the difference between right and left L-connectors?

The handedness determines which direction the track turns when viewed from the power feed end. A right-hand connector turns the track 90 degrees to the right, a left-hand version turns it to the left. The connectors are not interchangeable — choose based on your layout requirements.

Does it work with single-phase track?

No. The Brillia L-connector is designed specifically for 3-phase track systems where three separate circuits run through the same track rail. It will not fit single-phase or 2-circuit track profiles.

How is the 1-10V dimming wired?

The connector passes the 1-10V control signal through alongside the mains supply. The control wiring runs separately to the track and connects at the power feed point, then continues through connectors to reach all fixtures on the circuit. Each fixture must have a 1-10V-compatible driver to respond to the dimming signal.

Can it be mounted on walls or just ceilings?

The connector follows the track orientation. If the track is ceiling-mounted, the connector mounts to the ceiling. If the track is wall-mounted vertically or on a suspended framework, the connector adapts to that orientation. The IP20 rating restricts use to indoor dry locations regardless of mounting position.
