Description

The Brillia L-connector creates a left-hand 90° corner joint in 3-phase track lighting systems, maintaining electrical continuity across three separate dimming circuits. The connector body measures 120mm along each arm with a 35mm height, fitting standard Brillia and compatible 3-phase track profiles. The white polycarbonate housing blends into white or light-coloured ceilings.

Designed for retail spaces, galleries, showrooms and residential interiors where track lighting needs to follow corners or architectural features, the L-connector allows continuous power feed through the turn without requiring additional wiring. The three-phase design means three separate circuits run through the track, allowing different groups of track heads to be controlled or dimmed independently on each circuit.

The connector uses brass contact pins to maintain electrical connection between track sections, with spring-loaded clips securing the connector into the track profile. Installation requires no tools beyond those used to cut and mount the track itself. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments away from bathroom zones or outdoor exposure.

What's the difference between left and right L-connectors?

The left and right designations refer to the direction of the turn when viewed from the power feed end of the track. A left connector turns the track 90° to the left; a right connector turns it to the right. Check your track layout plan before ordering to ensure you select the correct orientation.

Is this compatible with single-phase track?

No. This is a 3-phase connector designed for Brillia 3-phase track systems. It will not fit or function correctly with single-phase track profiles. Confirm your track type before purchasing.

Can I use this connector outdoors or in bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating means the connector is suitable only for dry indoor locations. It is not protected against moisture ingress and must not be used in bathroom zones, outdoor installations, or any damp environment.

How is the connector fitted to the track?

The connector clips into the track profile using spring-loaded clips and brass contact pins. Track sections butt up to each end of the connector, and the clips secure them in place. No additional wiring or soldering is required once the track is powered at the feed point.
