Description

The Brillia L-connector is a left-hand 90-degree junction component for 3-phase track lighting systems, compatible with 1-10V dimming installations. The connector links two track sections at a right angle, maintaining electrical continuity across all three phases while routing the track around corners or into perpendicular runs. The black plastic housing measures 120mm on each arm with a 35mm height profile.

Designed for commercial, retail and residential track installations that need directional changes, the connector suits corner-to-corner layouts in galleries, shop floors, offices and kitchens where track lighting follows wall lines or defines zones. The left-hand orientation means the connector turns the track to the left when viewed from the incoming track section. The 1-10V dimming compatibility allows the connector to pass low-voltage dimming signals through the track system to compatible LED fittings.

The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor environments. Installation involves slotting the connector into the ends of two track sections and tightening the internal grub screws to lock the electrical contacts. The black finish blends with matt black track systems and recedes visually against dark ceilings. Ideal Lux backs the connector with a 5-year warranty.

The orientation determines which direction the track turns when viewed from the incoming track section. A left connector turns the track to the left, a right connector turns it to the right. Choose based on your layout plan.

Does it work with all 3-phase track systems?

The Brillia connector is designed for Ideal Lux 3-phase track. It may fit other manufacturers' systems if they use the same profile and electrical contact arrangement, but compatibility should be verified before purchase.

Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

The connector maintains a fixed 90-degree angle between the two track arms. On sloped ceilings, both incoming and outgoing track sections must follow the ceiling pitch, so the connector will only work if the layout allows a right-angle turn within that plane.

How is the 1-10V dimming signal passed through?

The connector includes internal contacts that maintain continuity for the 1-10V control wiring alongside the three live phases, neutral and earth. This allows dimming signals from a central controller to reach all fittings on the track run beyond the connector.
