Our Brilbette mother and child floor lamp puts two lights on one slim steel stem: a wide white uplighter bowl at the top and a smaller white shade on a flexible reading arm. The steel wears a black nickel finish, a dark metallic tone with a soft sheen, and the shades are white plastic and glass. It stands 176.5cm tall and measures 27.5cm across at its widest, with a round base 23cm in diameter, so it fits neatly into a corner or beside a sofa. The light source is E27, with a maximum of 60W, and bulbs are not included. It is rated IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors and dry, so a living room, bedroom or study rather than a bathroom or porch.

Two lights on one stand is the real reason to choose it.
