Description

The Brianna is a 2 light wall light built around a polished nickel frame with tubular curved arms that sweep outward from a central rectangular backplate. Each arm holds a cylindrical white linen shade approximately 280mm tall and 150mm wide, housing a single E14 bulb (sold separately). The polished nickel finish on the metal gives a mirror-like reflective surface that picks up ambient light in the room.

Designed for bedrooms, hallways and living room accent positions, the Brianna provides soft diffused light through the linen shades rather than direct downlight. The 165mm projection from the wall makes it suitable for mounting above a bedside table, flanking a hallway mirror, or as paired sconces either side of a sofa or fireplace. The rectangular backplate measures approximately 290mm wide, giving enough spread to balance visually against a typical king-size headboard or hallway console.

The white linen shades have a subtle vertical weave texture that becomes visible when the bulbs are lit, softening the metal frame without overwhelming it. The polished nickel arms curve smoothly without sharp angles, so the fitting reads as contemporary rather than strictly traditional despite the symmetrical two-arm layout. Each E14 socket accepts bulbs up to 60W, giving flexibility to choose warm-white LED bulbs between 5-8W for soft ambient light or brighter bulbs for task lighting where needed.

What bulbs does the Brianna take?

The fitting takes 2 x E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED candle bulbs between 5-8W and 2700K-3000K for soft ambient light in bedrooms and living rooms.

Can the shades be removed for cleaning?

Yes. The white linen shades lift off the metal frame for cleaning or replacement. Wipe gently with a dry microfibre cloth or vacuum on low suction to remove dust from the fabric weave.

How is the wall light installed?

The rectangular backplate fixes to a standard UK wall box or mounting point with two screws. The wiring connects inside the backplate before the decorative metal arms and shades are fitted. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.

Is it suitable for use in bathrooms?

The Brianna carries no IP rating and is designed for dry interior use only. It is not suitable for bathrooms or other moisture-exposed locations unless mounted well outside the defined electrical zones.
