Description
The Bravora is a 150mm semi-flush ceiling light built around a cylindrical drum shade cut from natural Spanish alabaster, fixed to a brushed brass ceiling canopy. A single G9 lamp socket sits inside the cylinder so light passes through the stone walls rather than spilling past them, turning the alabaster itself into the diffuser.
With equal 150mm height and diameter, the Bravora suits low ceilings, hallways, landings, walk-in wardrobes, en-suites and small bedrooms where a hanging pendant would crowd the room. The semi-flush profile sits close to the ceiling, making it a practical option in spaces with 2.2-2.4m ceiling heights or where a fitting is needed above a doorway, stairwell or above-bed position. The brushed brass canopy mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose.
Each cylinder is cut from a single block of natural alabaster, so the veining, mineral markings and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. Soft greys and warm cream pass through the stone when the lamp is lit, with the marbling becoming more pronounced as light moves through denser sections. The brushed brass canopy carries a warm matte finish that picks up the cream tones in the alabaster and pairs comfortably with both warm and cool interior schemes.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Bravora take?
The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb (sold separately). For warm ambient light through the alabaster, most users pair it with a 2700K-3000K G9 LED at 3-4W. Check the Specification tab for the maximum wattage rating before fitting a bulb.
Is it suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. The semi-flush profile sits close to the ceiling with a total drop of 150mm, making the Bravora a practical option for ceilings of 2.2-2.4m, hallways, landings, and over-doorway or above-bed positions where a hanging pendant would intrude.
Can it be used in a bathroom?
The Bravora does not carry a published IP rating, so it should be installed in standard indoor locations only. It is not suitable for bathroom zones 0, 1 or 2, or for outdoor use.
Will the alabaster pattern match between two fittings?
No. Each cylinder is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. If you are buying two Bravora fittings for the same room, expect each to show its own pattern when lit.
